Bas-Relief Sculpture

This is a carving class, open to students at all levels of experience. This is the technique I use in my current work. It is fun, compelling, and meditative. Plan on leaving your judgement at the door, and entering with a willingness to experiment!

Surface Techniques with Terra Sigillata

This is not as esoteric as it sounds for some of you…It is the fired material I use on my work that is quite different from glazing. It yields a soft, sensual gleam but is not glassy. Pre-requisite: previous ceramics experience or past/current enrollment in Bas-Relief Class.
